Porn Hub and Censorship
When I created this account two years ago, I soon realised what a powerful platform it was and enjoyed reaping the rewards. I used to post there often and frequently. But since the demonetisation of Porn Hub in December 2020, I put the brakes on.
Currently, I use Porn Hub as a platform to post My legacy content, some of it dating back to 2012. This content doesn’t sell as well as newer content, so I don’t mind tossing it on Porn Hub for free. It still brings Me more traffic elsewhere and the freebie hunters are still happy, so it is a win-win situation.
So, what makes My recent milestone even more exciting is that I have not even been trying! I rarely drive My own traffic to this site since it’s demonetisation. My reaching 1 million views has been largely organic. So, it just goes to show how many people still search for free porn!
But the days of free porn are slowly dying. Religious fundamentalists in America continue their “save the children” campaign. This is smoke and mirrors for the real motive of these bible banging zealots with a censorship boner: the war on porn. Just look at what happened to My beloved AVN Stars last month. Are you a content creator?
Once upon a time Porn Hub had a sister site called Model Hub, similar to most fan club platforms. Model Hub used to be My top earning platform in the months before the demonetisation. I was making more than there than all other platforms I use combined. So you can imagine it was a total blow when the credit card overlords pulled the plug.
I completely stopped uploading for a while, then I put My big girl pants back on when I realised there was still an abundance of traffic. I’m earning a fraction of what I used to. However, it still acts as an excellent social media platform. Think of of as an adult version of YouTube – you get paid to promote yourself, but unlike YouTube, you won’t get kicked off for adult content! The boys are still there and the boys are still fapping. Despite Pornhub losing monetisation, they are still like the McDonald’s of porn – two billion served! And I am enjoying a tiny slice of that pie!
